Counterfeiting in cosmetics and personal care products

The survey carried out by the OHIM (Offce for Harmonisation in the Internal Market) found that in the European Union the sale of counterfeited products in the cosmetic and personal care each year involves the loss of at least 4.7 million, turnover for manufacturers and distributors.

In percentage terms, is spoken by 7.8% of total sales in the sector: Terms relatively large.

This survey was carried out entirely by OHIM, but it seems appropriate to bring it to highlight how rampant in all areas is counterfeiting.
