Kartell wins against counterfeiting in China

Since more than two years Kartell decided to approach the Chinese market, knowing full well that it would not be easy, especially as regards the scope of counterfeiting.

As soon as the Italian company began exporting to China, another Chinese company has started to work and copy the famous Kartell chairs.

Fortunately, the Chinese judges blocked the counterfeiting and the dispute ended with a settlement mediated by the judge. This victory is, among other disputes, increasing, that design and, more generally, Italian products are getting on Chinese soil.
