The hashtag, or the # sign followed by a word, has become increasingly important and widespread since 2017.
Its diffusion has not gone unnoticed to the companies that have understood how this can become relevant in terms of marketing.
It is therefore possible that the hashtag is destined to progress and become increasingly important for companies: it must be said that in Italy, unlike, for example in the United States, it does not yet have a specific discipline and their protection can be only lead back to the rules on the subject of trademarks.
