This is the sentence pronounced by the EU Court, which established that the Romagna piadina, with PGI certificate, must necessarily have been prepared in Romagna. Regardless of whether it is craft or industrial production, the companies that produce this specialty and which are outside the borders of Romagna, will necessarily have to cease selling or move to Romagna. This is the case of CMR, a company from Modena, which has long fought this battle, for the moment without success.
