Led Zeppelins, accused and then acquitted in 2016 for having plagiarized their very famous song "Stairway to heaven”, could now be again accused of plagiarism as the Los Angeles federal court found errors that had been committed in the 2016 trial.
In fact, during the trial, it was not possible to listen to the original piece of Randy California, but only a live recording. Moreover, the district judge would have argued, wrongly, that the copyright does not cover the chromatic scales, the arpeggios and the sequences of three notes, an aspect that has influenced the jury's opinion.
