Many Italian brands that are a symbol of Made in Italy are increasingly sold abroad.
One example among many is the Versace house that will be bought by the French giant Bernard Arnault, as well as the famous Loro Piana wool yarn brand.
Even the Gucci house has already passed into French hands and the company is controlled by Kering of Pinault.
So many of the Italian excellences that traditionally found space and development on the fertile Italian territory have been spread across the border. Not always, however, this situation must necessarily be synonymous with the closure of factories and layoffs. In the luxury sector, very often the production area remains unchanged, but we certainly can not know if it will be so forever.
